GÖKHAN AYBULUS, Pianist

 

 

Gökhan Aybulus was born in Eskişehir, Turkey and started his studies at the local conservatoire with Prof. Z. Adıguzelzade. He was admitted to the class of Prof. Naum Shtarkman at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow in 2000 and graduated as the last student of this distinguished teacher in 2009, he completed his doctorate with State Artist Prof. S. Dorenskiy.

During his studies in Moscow, Aybulus studied, in addition to his main teachers, with R. Ostrovsky, P. Nersessian, A. Pisarev, Nikolai Lugansky (piano), Nina Kogan (chamber music). While still a student, he performed in the most prestigious halls of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm and Samara.

Gökhan Aybulus, has played chamber music concerts with Naum Shtarkman, Natalia Gutman, Nikolai Lugansky and Dora Schwarzberg.  

Aybulus has performed in many national and international festivals in Turkey, Russia, Germany, Austria, Italia, Ukraine, Croatia, Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, Azerbaijan and China. He has performed with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Samara Philharmonic, Ukranian National Philharmonic, Presidential Symphony Orchestra and all the leading Turkish orchestras and  he has represented Turkey as a jury member in international piano competitions.

In 2010 he is invited to teach at Bursa Uludag University State Conservatory and became an Associated Professor in 2012. Now he is teaching in Eskişehir Anadolu University State Conservatory and  continue to his concerts in all over the world.
